Bahrain’s Coast Guard Commander, Major General Ala’a Siyadi has attended a graduation ceremony for the vessel captain’s course at the Maritime Training Wing held from 18 to 29 Augus, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

The ceremony also attended by the Commander of U.S. Coast Guard Patrol Forces Southwest Asia (PATFORSWA), Colonel Curtiss C. Potter.

 The course included lectures on the use of vessels and maritime training through to sea patrolling to enable them to learn the required skills to deal with different situations in the sea.

 Meanwhile, Bahrain’s National Guard President His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa received Ambassador of Pakistan to Bahrain Afzal Mahmoud in Manama.

 His Highness praised the amicable ties between the two countries and peoples and the cooperation especially in the military field.

 The Ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation of His Highness’ efforts in bolstering the joint cooperation.

 They also discussed some topics of shared interest.
